How can artificial intelligence and computer vision help companies better control their processes and make more informed decisions? This was the focus of a presentation by Krzysztof Rewak, who presented a joint paper with Karol Zygadło and PhD Mateusz Jackowski.
The authors explored the use of computer vision in the brewing industry, showing how visual data can become a valuable source of information for an entire organisation - from quality control and process monitoring to decision support.
The research reflects the direction in which we are developing our expertise at Blumilk: combining AI, data and custom software development to address real business and industrial challenges.
The 22nd CIRCLE International Annual Conference, “NextGen Business: Sustainability & Digitalisation”, took place on 8-11 April 2026 at Jan Wyżykowski University in Polkowice, Poland.

World Health Expo Miami 2026 is behind us - one of the most important events for the healthcare and digital health industry in the Americas.
Blumilk's co-founder and CEO, PhD Piotr Nadybski attended the event, presenting his approach to using AI technology and data analysis to support medical and rehabilitation processes. This wasn't a finished product showcase, but rather a demonstration of how we approach solving complex engineering problems.
Because that's what we do every day.
We create software for organizations that face large-scale, complex processes and ambitious challenges. We help transform concepts into working, secure solutions, regardless of the industry.
We return from Miami with new contacts, inspiration and even greater confidence that technologies created in Lower Silesia have the potential to address global challenges.
Participation in the event took place as part of a trade mission organized by the Marshal's Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship as part of the "Going Global 5.0 - Internationalization of Lower Silesian Enterprises" project, which aims to support regional companies in expanding into foreign markets.
Thank you for your trust and the opportunity to be part of this mission!
Real-world project experience, research and technology development came together at this year’s DepCoS-RELCOMEX conference. The Blumilk team presented two papers exploring how modern technologies can address real challenges in software distribution and industrial processes.
The first paper presented by PhD Piotr Nadybski “Reliable Software Distribution at Scale Using Containerized Delivery and Discrete Scheduling Optimization”, was based on experience gained during the development of a Blumilk project. Piotr Nadybski, Krzysztof Rewak, Karol Zygadło, Kamil Piech, Jacek Sawoszczuk and Ewelina Skrzypacz created an approach combining containerization, automation and scheduling optimization to improve large-scale software distribution. The solution achieved an 83% reduction in deployment times and near-elimination of license violations in a production environment.
This is a great example of how experience gained while solving real business challenges can turn into research, new approaches and knowledge shared with the wider technology community.
The second paper, “Dependable Resource Planning in Smart Breweries through a Digital Twin of Flexible Batch Fermentation Processes”, was presented by Krzysztof Rewak together with Andrzej Rusiecki. The research explores the use of digital twins and optimization methods to support resource planning in brewery fermentation processes.
Both papers were published by Springer in the volume “Dependable Computer Systems: Methods, Models, and Applications”, the proceedings of the 21st International Conference on Dependability of Computer Systems (DepCoS-RELCOMEX), held on 29 June-2 July 2026 in Brunów, Poland.
For Blumilk, it is another step in developing our R&D capabilities and combining software development, AI and optimization with real-world business and industrial challenges.
