This Wednesday, May 22, a two-day scientific conference entitled "Artificial Intelligence - Opportunities and Threats" will begin, organized by the Collegium Witelon State University and the The Social Insurance Institutionin Legnica. The event will be an excellent opportunity for Legnica residents and others to explore the growing role of artificial intelligence in various aspects of social, economic and cultural life.

The authors of the paper are blumik programmers - MSc Eng. Krzysztof Rewak and MSc Eng. Kamil Piech - and academic teachers. This article is part of our drive to connect academia with industry and present practical solutions in the field of IT.

At Blumilk, we are always close to the academic community. We conduct classes in the field of Computer Science, support the creation and updating of study programs, and offer internships for the most talented students. We are proud to announce that our team consisting of Mateusz Lencki, Kamil Piech, Krzysztof Rewak and Marcin Tracz took first place in the CuValley Hack hackathon organized by KGHM Centrum Analityki and KGHM in the category "Safe mobile application for data aggregation".

During several hours of hard work, finished late at night, we built a Laravel backend that connects to a dozen or so external services.

Our application highlights data regarding, among others:

• metal prices,
• stocks and stock market indices,
• currency rates,
• gas and electricity prices,
• news from the mining world,
• current and financial reports of the KGHM company,
• shareholder structure.

We programmed the client layer in Flutter, which allowed us to create an efficient and intuitive mobile application.

We would like to thank the esteemed jury for appreciating our solution. We are glad that we could show our skills in practice.

We all know that applications created on Laravel easily handle HTTP requests. Just add one line in the router, create one class in the controller folder and it basically works. How does routing really work? What are middlewares? Why are form requests so convenient? How and why does the MeetupController::class string in api.php create an instance of the controller class?
